100 day challenge > Uluru

Hi Elle

I hope you receive this as I couldn't work out another way to contact you.

I have loved receiving your emails and I always find them inspiring...

Please don't climb Uluru. The traditional owners believe it is insulting and disrespectful. As I once asked my mum who is a practicing Christian "would you like people climbing on the alter in your church?". She wasn't very impressed but got my point. If you go to the cultural centre before you do anything at the rock, you will understand what I am saying.

The 9km walk around the rock is so much more enjoyable and educational. If you want to climb something "big" to feel as though you have "conquered" something, please go climb the Eiffel Tower or do Jacob's Ladder 100 times.

Enjoy our Red Centre. It is a beautiful time of year to visit.

I can appreciate your point of view regarding Uluru - but having climbed to the top of York Minster can (at this point) see no difference in climbing "the rock"

HOWEVER

I will make a judgement call when I get there

Thanks and regards
