October 5: #87 - Forgot to load the picture

I forgot to load today's picture for the discarding 100 things gallery, and I don't have the camera cable with me to transfer them to this computer either - doh and double doh ... will have to load 2 tomorrow.

But other than that indiscretion, everything is going well. Pulling in some additional walking, which will help me to loosen up the hip flexors after Sunday's training - and no (personal) ad-hoc spending.

I did check the receipts to see how much difference it is making, and so far I think I've saved myself a couple of hundred dollars - already. Given that I need to buy a couple of birthday presents and of course think about Christmas, this is a very good thing... remember my caveat - presents don't count in my list of things I can't buy. I'm just not planning on buying anything for myself... but there will be 2 breaks in that rule. 1 will be a pair of weight training gloves, too many hand injuries are occurring now I am lifting / moving heavier weights and i need the grip, and I will need to find a replacement journal. But there it is - and I want to be honest with you :-)

However, my mother in law arrives (well ex- mother in law) for a visit to see her son and grand children. I get on well with Margaret and I will be taking a couple of days off during her visit so we can catch up and get some sight seeing in - which probably means the $30 I have had in my wallet since the challenge began will be used - but you get that. Some things are more important.
