Discarding 100 things in 100 days

As part of my own personal 100 day challenge, I am taking inspiration from an article I read in TIME Magazine on how one gentleman was trying live with just 100 personal items. As regular readers of the Daily Dose of Motivational Medicine will know I have been urging you to discard (throw away or dontate) items that are cluttering your lives. Clutter allows us to procrastinate.

I like the philosophy of this article and have decided to put my own spin on it and I am going to discard (throw away or donate) 100 items in 100 days.

The first few items are going to be easy and I have already earmarked 3 items for donation. But I know that as the 100 day challenge progresses finding items to discard won't be quite so simple as I am a regular discarder. But that is one reason why it is called a "Challenge."

As we move through the last 100 days of 2010 I will let you know how I am progressing with this and my other challenges. You can check out the gallery if you like... go on you know you want to...

Are you ready to accept my challenge?

I'm starting today but also tweaking it a little to suit me. I'm due to have a baby on the 25th of October via C/S, so I would like to complete my challenge by the evening before. I'm going to disgard 128 items (mostly from my wardrobe) in the next 32 days and also spring clean my house.
