compliments

Welcome to today's issue of The Daily Dose of Motivational Medicine. The e-zine of Motivateme: Breaking the Procrastination Habit. http://www.motivateme.info. Have you signed up for your daily dose yet?
----------------------------------------------------------
Do you like to receive compliments or do you blush furiously and say something detrimental about yourself to negate them?

What about giving compliments? Are you the kind of person who can walk up to a complete stranger and say:

"Hi, I just wanted to say I think that outfit you are wearing is just gorgeous.... "
"Wow you look fantastic!"
"You have a beautiful smile"

And you know what happens then? Well you've just made several people's day....

The person on the other end of the compliment - why? because when you said it, you really meant it....

The other person is you. If you feel good about who you are, what you are wearing and generally feeling happy and joyous, you are more likely to give compliments to others. But it is also interesting to note that you will receive more compliments when you are happy and joyous. Most people I know are drawn to the beautiful, and whilst they will notice the "bad" and the not so pretty, they will hardly draw attention to the fact that someone isn't feeling or looking their best today.

So if you see something or someone you like, why not make two people happy. Go on I dare you.
