Motivation and anger. It is an interesting thought, if you think about it. Have you noticed you are more likely to do something if you are annoyed? Do you immediately get on the telephone when you find out that you have been overcharged by a bank or utility company? Of course you do, you are angry and boy are you going to let them know about it. In fact nothing will stop you from achieving your goal of getting them to admit their mistake and compensate you for wasting your time.
So my question to you today. Why don't you get angry with yourself for wasting precious time? You know you have jobs to do, but you watch the television, or talk on MSN. If you are at work, do you spend time chatting to your work colleagues instead of actually working? How much time do you spend on the electronic mail and internet each day? Why don't you get annoyed with yourself for wasting time on things that really don't matter.
We waste time, each and every one of us. Yet we don't get annoyed with ourselves...I mean, really annoyed, drop everything and sort it out kind of annoyed. You don't do you? Of course not. But you should, because you have the power to do amazing things. But what happens, we run with the average crowd.
Well if you want to get more out of life, you have to stop wasting time on average activities and get annoyed with yourself every time you are tempted to waste time. Remember, once a minute has been spent, you cannot get a refund and spend it again.
If you still don't know how you spend your time, then get your timelog out of the drawer, it is the best way to keep track of those precious minutes.
