Do you really need all that food in your house?
Welcome to today's issue of The Daily Dose of Motivational Medicine. The e-zine of Motivateme: Breaking the Procrastination Habit. http://www.motivateme.info. Have you signed up for your daily dose yet?
----------------------------------------------------------
Good Morning I hope this finds you well and looking forward to thinking about the new week in an entirely new way.
Today's topic is slightly different from previous editions, but I make no apologies - because as you will know by now, everything that we say and do impacts on everything else. Which is why i want to speak to you about your food buying habits.
Are you the kind of person who goes to the shops with a list, and gets what is on the list and only those items that are on the list? No, me neither.
Or are you the kind of person who has a partial list, then buys things for just in case you fancy something a little different this week. Yep that's more like me too.
Can you do me a favour and go and have a look in your pantry, food cupboards, fridge and freezer. Do your food stores look like you are stock piling for the next world war? Yes I thought so.
Now and here is the thing. Do you have any idea of how much money is tied up in the food stocks you have stuck in your pantries and freezers? I'll give you a clue, it will be hundreds if not thousands of dollars especially if you have chest freezers filled to the brim of "stuff".
So if you want to save yourself some money this week - and probably the next few weeks - then all you need to do is eat the stuff you've bought and then stuck in the cupboards.
