Good Afternoon, I hope this second day of your weekend is going as well as you could hope for.
Just a quick thought for today:
If you are struggling with getting started on your goals today - or anyday because you don't seem to have moved very far. Then it is important to remember where you started from.
If your personal goal is to write a book, and you started off with nothing more than an idea and a desire to write, and now you have a plan for what the book will cover, and you have written fifty pages...that is worthy of celebration. You are 50 pages towards completion of your goal of having a finished manuscript. Yes you may have another 350 pages to go, but a page a day will see the project finished in about a year. Personally given what else we have to do, a book a year is a good work rate.
Or what about your desire to lose weight. You said you wanted to lose 40lbs, to take you from your current weight of 200lbs down to a much healthier 160lbs....and so far you've managed to lose 10 of those 40lbs - then you are 1/4 of the way towards your goal....
Each success should inspire you to go that little bit further towards your desired target. But it is important to recognise the successes along the way. Don't forget that some of the most important parts of every journey is not the destination, but what you will experience along the way, and the person you are becoming as you celebrate each and every success.
