Do you suffer from analysis paralysis?

Do you suffer from analysis paralysis?

If you are anything like me, I can almost guarantee that you do. You have all the facts, some would say you have more facts than you actually need. But you still can't make a decision. And you know that the more you think about it, the more likely you are to make a mistake - which makes it even harder to come to a decision. So we procrastinate. Over time that procrastination becomes a habit and we have trouble breaking through a habit we don't know we have, and don't want to deal with even if we did.

Science has born out this fact many times - if you are interested in reading something on the subject then "Blink: The power of thinking without thinking by Malcolm Gladwell" can explain it better than I.

But he and I both agree on one thing - the first reaction you have is usually the right one. "Gut instinct" can be the one of the keys to breaking the analysis paralysis procrastination habit.
