Stop "trying" and start doing

Do you use the word "try" in your vocabulary?

  • "I'm trying to lose weight"
  • "I'm trying to write a book"
  • "I'm trying to do..."
  • "I'll try"

But as Yoda says "Do or do not, there is no try"

If you spend all your time telling yourself you are going to try and do something you are giving yourself permission to fail, or not to do all you that you can. Trying is also another way to procrastinate.

If you want to overcome procrastination, if you want to beat procrastination once and for all, you do have to stop telling yourself you'll "try" and take action.
