Good Morning and welcome to today's issue of the Daily Dose of Motivational Medicine. Just a quick thank you and welcome to all our new subscribers, it is wonderful to have you join us.
--------------------------------
What time do you get up in a morning? I am and always have been an early riser (except occasionally on a weekend). Yes it is a habit I have gotten into, but one that I am more than happy to hang onto.
Why?
Well a couple of reasons. It gives me a calm transition between sleep and wake...whilst that may seem like an obvious thing to say, what I mean by that is - I am not running around like a headless chicken trying to remember to do everything in a very short space of time.
I don't arrive at work stressed. Instead, I get a chance to enjoy the cool of the early morning, read, write and do all sorts of things that I couldn't do if everyone else was up and about. So if you always seem to be doing things for other people and never seem to have time for you, then try getting up half an hour earlier than the rest of the household and reclaim some personal time.
