Good Morning I hope this finds you well.

As I write this I am again struck by how fast time flies when you need more of it.

So a couple of usual questions:
- How much have you managed to achieve so far this year?
- Are you happy with your progress or could you do better? Hint - we can all do better!
- How are your projects coming along?
- What have you done today that takes you closer to achieving it/them?

We've been back at work a few weeks since the Christmas and New Year period, are you back into the groove of only doing enough to get by? Or are you still fired up about making a difference to the way your year turns out?

If you're response was - heck no, I could hardly drag myself out of bed this morning, and please don't talk to me before I've had my third cup of coffee....then we really do need to talk.

Your attitude towards getting more out of every day starts with some simple things. For example:

- What time did you get up this morning? Did you hit the snooze button so many times that you didn't have time to shower, shave/put your make up on?

- What are you wearing? Are you still taking the same care with your appearance as you did when you started your present job?

- What attitude are you wearing? Yes attitudes are something we can change at will. So what is your "face" saying about your attitude towards your job? Now I am not asking you whether you have cleaned your teeth or your lipstick is smudged....but how does your face look? What do others see? Do they see a welcoming face, or one that says - bug off I don't have time for you you insignificant twerp. How dare you interrupt my day.

Which is all very well, but try keeping your job if the boss sees you. Worse still if you are the boss, do you have a high turnover of staff? No wonder - everyone thinks you an unapproachable jerk, and someone who is only nice when they want something. Hint - everyone can see through it, they are just scared to tell you, because they fear getting fired.

In order to change the way your life turns out, you have to look at everything.
- Every thought that you have
- Every word that you speak - outloud or to yourself
- Every action that you take
- What you look like (appearance)
- What your face and your attitude says about you

And then you have to ask - is the rest of the year going to be the same if I am not willing to do things differently? The answer is of course YES.

The final question you need to ask yourself today is:

Is that OK?

And if it's not - then what are you going to do about it?

With many thoughts
Elle B
