In a dog eat dog world, what kind of animal are you?
Are you the social butterfly who's only reason for being at work is to get enough money to buy the next pair of shoes, outfit and drinks on the weekend? Do you spend most of your time talking to people about what a great night you had last night. And you have to wear far too much makeup to cover up the fact that you haven't slept properly in days!
Or the sloth - you do everything at your own pace, and you won't be hurried - nope, not for anyone. You only do enough in order to survive the next round of headcutting.
The hyena - laughing at everyone and everything. You pretend to work in a team, until you get the spoils, then you steal all the glory for yourself. The trouble with being a hyena of course is that your colleagues quickly learn this "trick" and start doing the same things.
A cat - you spend 70% of your day "asleep" in front of the monitor, waking up long enough to eat and relieve yourself.
Or are you like the faithful dog, loyal, obedient, fetching and carrying, always at someone's beck and call. All you want is to be noticed, and "patted" and told what a great job you've done. But sometimes you get ignored, or worse still - shouted at, and it wasn't your fault -  whatever it was, was it? You slink back to your office, tail between your legs, forgotten about, until someone wants something and you're there....thinking this time - it will be different...won't it.
The elephant - plodder - until you get annoyed and then you charge and snort angrily until people get out of the way
The sheep - always running with the crowd - you're the yes people of the organisation
The cow - full of hot air
The pig - don't mind working in a complete pig sty, people have no idea what you are working on because they haven't seen your desk in years.
Or the panther - decisive, you know what you want, and you are ruthless in the way that you stalk your prey before going in for the kill.
Whatever kind of "animal" you are - people are the only "animals" who can willingly change their behaviours and habits, isn't it time you changed your bad ones, for ones that move you forward.
