solving your problems one at a time

If you have a series of serious problems or issues to face and feel completely overwhelmed by the thought of having to deal with any of them, let alone all of them, then you should just remember one thing. You can handle it - you have the skills you need to deal with whatever you need to deal with. You may not think you do, which is one of the reasons why you feel stuck and overwhelmed. But consider this - most of what you worry over are created inside your head - by that personal computer you have ticking away - namely your brain. How many of the worst case scenarios ever came to pass? Few if any I would hazard a guess.

So if we have all the skills we need, and that includes knowing when to give the "problem" to someone else. For instance, I won't touch electricity, gas or water - so will offload my "problems" to those with the skills I don't have, to do the jobs they are capable of doing. I give the problem to an appropriate person and simply ensure the job gets done. And it is the same with most other issues - If you don't feel you have the necessary skills, then find someone who has and there you have it - "sorted". Why worry about trying to do everything when someone else can do it in less time with less hassle? You don't have to be a super person to be successful. In fact if you look at all the successful people, you will find they have perfected the art of finding people who are good at what they do, and allow them to do what they are good at. Sounds simple doesn't it - and it is.

Personally i feel that problems and issues we don't want to face allow us to wallow. Sometimes in self-pity, but mainly behind - worry. If we worry about something (usually something completely out of our control) we don't have time, space or energy to focus on what we should be doing - and that is moving forwards. Of course you could disagree with me and that is entirely up to you. But knowing what I know about my own life and observing those people I know - well I'd have to say I think I'm right.

Remember - It doesn't matter what your problems are - someone, somewhere will have the answers for you. Money worries - banks and financial planners can help you. Legal problems - well that's what lawyers and solicitors are for. Weight problems - dieticians, weight loss clinics and personal trainers. Health issues - doctors, nurses, specialists, surgeons are all there to help you.
