Set your sights high

If you associate with people who challenge your thinking you will begin to raise your own standards. Conversely the opposite also true.

If you want to get more out of life, you need to set goals that will also make you raise your standards. The bigger the goal, the more you are going to have to change so that you can achieve them. The reason why BIG goals are important is quite simple. Why would you want to set a goal that doesn't inspire you to get out of bed in a morning. I mean what would the point be. I need to find another job so that I can pay these bills. An admirable sentiment, but not very inspiring. A better goal would be - I want to find THE most efficient way I can help as many people as I can, and in doing so be rewarded. How I do that is up to me, but it will involve taking the skills and abilities I have now, and applying them to my current life. Learning new skills and abilities and adding them to my current knowledge base, and as I learn and grow I will have more opportunities and chances to help more people.

So set some big goals, after all you are here for the duration, so why not make it an interesting journey.
