Photographic evidence

Photographs are an amazing self assessment tool. Go back through your photo album. Pick out all the photos of you - and take a good, hard and close look at them.
Do you look happy, sad, upset - can you remember what you were doing at the time?
What are you wearing? Does it flatter you or not? If it doesn't - next question - is that particular outfit still residing in your closet? Do me a favour - go and put it on. What do you look like in it now? If it doesn't fit, flatter you or looks downright dingy it's time to throw it out.
What does your skin look like - I mean - looking at the photos is a good way of deciding whether or not you should be spending more time at the gym or not.
Now be honest - do you look better or worse than the photos you have kept?
In comparing those photos of yourself to how you are today, given that a few year's have elapsed in all probability - have you improved with age or no?
Now I am not saying that we need to be ultra skinny or wearing the latest in designer gear to look amazing. If you are happy in your skin, it will show, and it usually shows in your eyes, and the set of your mouth.
The proof is in the photographs....
