Satisfied?
Are you "happy" with "your lot"? Or are you constantly griping about what you don't have?
The thing is - would you be happier with more stuff if you can't be happy with what you already own or have?
That may have elicited a response of "der! of course" but would you really? Or would you be off after the next shiny bauble, never stopping to appreciate just what it is you have just achieved / acquired.
Goal setting and goal achievement is like that. You need to appreciate the tiny steps each and every time you manage to complete one. Losing weight is not something that can be done by going without desert once in a blue moon, but tiny decisions we make throughout the day. Tiny decisions that say we use the stairs rather than the lift or choosing an apple over crisps and/or chocolate. Each tiny decision over time adds up to massive change. But if you resent the process - you are going to resent the outcome. And it doesn't matter if your goal is to lose weight, get fit, write a novel, build a network business or anything else we say we want.
As always something to consider as you go about your day.
