"Your profession is not what brings home your paycheck. Your profession is what you were put on earth to do with such passion and such intensity that it becomes spiritual in calling."  Vincent Van Gogh

Setting goals that inspire you is vital. Without something to look forward to you will simply drift through each day.

How do you set goals that inspire you?

Sit down for a minute with your mad/would like to do before you die list of things. In there are the seeds of inspiring goals.

Have you ever wanted to visit the pyramids? How about white water raft down the grand canyon or travel around Australia on a bus?

These are the keys to designing the life you were meant to live. How are you going to achieve these things? What can you do today to take you one step closer to achieving these things? Visit the pyramids - get on the net, check out the tours on offer, go to the travel agents, go to the bank to talk about your finances, go home and talk to your spouse. Get a new job if you need to earn more money, write the book and sell it, have a garage sale to make some additional money - do whatever you have to do in order to achieve those things.

Get excited about life and living it.

If your current goal list doesn't inspire you then you need to spend some time this weekend working out what does, because until you do, you will end up in the same place next year, doing the same things you've always done - the only change will be - you will be a year older.
