Enthusiasm has to come from within if you want to get on.

Having listened to the “Claim your power now” introductory, try before you buy video (watch it here - http://www.asamanthinketh.net/cypndvd) I am both in awe of the simplicity of the sales message, and the people who spend thousands of dollars getting “fired up” with motivational speak. Do they manage to translate that message into long-term practice? Why hasn’t everyone who has read “think and grow rich” by Napoleon Hill managed to do just that? Are you still poor – financially speaking? Well you will be interested to know so are most other people who read the book.

So what happened? Well – these people may be able to sustain the enthusiasm over a couple of days or weeks, but it takes a huge change in your thinking before you can make the break throughs offered by the people on the Claim Your Power Now weekend - Jim Rohn, Bob Proctor, Vic Johnson, Lisa Jimenez, Christopher Guerriero etc etc. And not everyone can make those changes. They think they can, they create impossible goals for themselves, start planning the strategies they think will get them there, and then at the first sign of failure, they stop, unsure of what to do or where to go. They don’t have the daily proddings, the musings and suggestions that you do to keep them focussed on where they need to be. So what happens, well they buy the next set of tapes, DVD’s and Books. They find the next seminar to go to and try and find that elusive magic carpet that will take them to financial success, or success with their families, weight loss or whatever else they need motivating to achieve.

So how come Jim Rohn and the rest can make millions every year? Well they rely on people’s need to hear the message one more time, to get fired up one more time. To buy the next set of tapes and books. And they do it extremely well. As I said, the sales message is superb, I’ve bought some of them, so it must be good!!

But overcoming the procrastination habit is not hard, you just have to want to do it. You have all the power you need within you to do the most amazing things. It’s there, just waiting to be directed into action. And you alone have the power over you to do just that.

And that is the key to motivation and overcoming the procrastination habit, you need to direct it to where you want it to go. It is no good spending all your time on things that will not move you forwards towards where you say you want to be – be it having financial freedom, improved communications with family, friends and co-workers, being fit and healthy or whatever else you say you want to achieve. Spending too much time on things that zap your time and energy is like having a pin prick hole in a balloon, you may not know it's there, but sooner or later you run out of air.

So, decide what you want. Then decide if you are willing to find the sticky tape and fill the holes in your personal bubble. Stop wasting time on things and people that do not matter. Make some decisions, and then do them. As you start crossing things off your list you will gain a momentum you hadn’t thought possible. And you have the power to do that. If you want to.

Now I am not saying you shouldn't read the books, watch the tapes and go to the seminars, but when it all comes down to it, it is up to you what you do with the information. Information on its own is nothing if you don’t use it. So don't just read, you still need to do.
