How's the attitude?

Monday, the first day of the working week for many people. How has the start of your working week begun?

Have you begun with fire and passion, determined to get things done? You know what it is you have to do today, tomorrow and the rest of the week, and the day has unfolded as you knew it would. Every action has come about because of a determination and a thought that today you are not going to waste a single minute. Today is the day you are going to forge your success on.

Or have you arrived at work, tired and hung over. Tired and bored, or are you thinking that you really don't want to be here, doing "this".

Go on, be honest, if not with me - at least with yourself.

I know we can't always be positive, I know that sometimes life can deal us a dud hand. We may think that life is being unfair, why me, why me, why me?

Well you can carry on whining if you like, but you're hardly going to get anything done with that attitude now are you?

And that is one of the major keys to overcoming the procrastination habit - the attitude that you have. The better your attitude the more you will get done. Conversely if your attitude stinks, well guess what - everything, and I do mean everything will be a problem for you.

So take care of your attitude, it can be the difference between getting on or getting left behind.
