Do it properly
What do I mean by properly?
Well with the right kind of enthusiasm and in the best way possible. Don't attempt to cut corners, you'll only end up taking longer than you first thought.
For example: Getting to the gym and then only doing half the prescribed number of repetitions, or only walking at a slow pace on the treadmill. You know - the sauntering kind of walk you see most people do. If you've ever tried to burn fat - you know that you need to work at about 80% of capacity for 20-30 minutes at least 3 x per week.
Or only making half the number of phone calls you need to make, so that when you get in to work the following day you have twice the number of calls to make and even less enthusiasm in order to do them.
So - do all that you can, in the best way that you can and you will achieve far more than those who just show up. I mean, who are you trying to kid after all?
