September already

2007 - September.

It's just occured to me that we are now into the 9th month of the year 2007. Yes I know I've been looking at the date all day, but - a cliche, but oh my goodness how true is this - where has the year gone?

Do you remember those new years resolutions that you set way back in January? You do? Then you are better than most? Do me a favour and go and find your list and have a good look at the things you said that you wanted 2007 to bring to you. How close are you to achieving those items? How many of those items didn't make it past January?

We have just over 3 months to the end of the year. 3 months to make a difference to ourselves, our family and our businesses - are you focusing on what you can do? Or on what other people are doing to you?

Remember we can only change our own behaviours, not those behaviours of other people, and not everyone wants to move forwards. Some people really are happy doing the same things every day, that way they don't have to worry, they don't have to change, they don't have to grow. Do me a favour, don't be like those people, choose a task and do it. Make some progress, because in just a few short days and weeks it will be 2008. And how scary is that thought?

With Many thoughts,
