Give yourself plenty of time

Today we are in the final planning stages for the trip back to England. I cannot believe how fast time goes when you need more of it. I can't also believe how many things I have managed to do in such a short space of time.

Which of course got me thinking about motivation and procrastination

I have a very definite deadline. I have a flight to catch.

I haven't travelled in England for nearly 12 years so cannot remember the roads I need to take, or how long it is going to take me to get anywhere, so planning, routes, timing, what to see, how long, where to from here. Trying to juggle the commitments with my family for dad's funeral arrangements, and believe it or not my brother's wedding at the other end of the "holiday". And yes I use the term loosely.

And then of course there is you - the readers of the daily dose of motivational medicine.

With 24 hours on the plane, plus another 4 hours of driving to look forward to, it does give me time to think and to write. But it does mean that the DDOMM will be sporadic at best, but I shall do my best to keep a travelog of what, when and where - and yes the digital camera is in the bag already.

So until we next speak, keep well, keep safe and remember - if you have some major event looming - give yourself plenty of time to get yourself organised.

With love and light

Elle
