Keeping busy
It is very easy to keep "busy". Most of us do it without thinking too hard and too deeply about the consequences of being busy without achieving a great deal. For most people out there - being busy is the norm. But have you ever stopped to wonder just what it is you have achieved during your day?
We have had a lot of new readers to the Daily Dose since this program started who may not know about the time log that is on the site - go to - http://www.motivateme.info/downloads-and-free-stuff/ for your copy. Simply fill in as honestly as you can how you spent your days and nights and you will be able to see just where you spend your time. Of course, to those of you who have read the dose and have heard me speaking about the time log before - please repeat this exercise to work out where else you can save yourself some time, and in fact make time ever day.
Utilising those few minutes every day can make hours worth of difference to you over a week. And we can all do with an extra couple of hours each week, can't we. Well you can find them in a few minute slots each and every day.
We've been in Blighty for 3 days now and I am exhausted. I don't know how international travellers do this on a regular basis. My hat goes off to those people who spend their lives on the road. But i shall keep going fr my mum's sake. My day's are filled with so many things to do, so many choices to make. But you don't have time to dither, you make your decision and you go with the results of those choices. And so far, it's worked wonderfully.
We hit the road again tomorrowm. Stonehenge (Cos we've never been), Portland (where my sister lives, and Weymouth - where we will be staying the night). Then Friday we say goodbye to dad and head across to London for a few days. People to see, places to visit and no doubt t-shirts to buy, so will be offline for a few days.
If you fill in the time log, and notice that you have time to fill, please take the spare time (when you are not reading the dose) to make headway into the next phase of one of your projects. And yes you can move your projects on a word at a time, a brick at a time, a row of knitting at a time....once you know what you want.
And if you don't know what you want - well you and I need to talk
