Mentors come in all sorts of guises

Hello everyone, I hope you have missed me while we have been on the roads. We did finally get to Stonehenge, but not until Friday afternoon on the way into London. We also hit the main commuter traffic heading in and out of London on Friday evening. Everything is an experience - good or bad, and as you may have realised by now. I love adventures. OK sitting on the M25 London Orbital Road can hardly be classed as an adventure to some people, but for me and the children - as we had never experienced it before we had great fun watching the planes going over at Heathrow, and the irate drivers who were obviously late for tea.

Of course London was amazing. The kids were wide eyed with sights and sounds, and thankfully the  weather stayed relatively mild for our trips in and out of the underground...now there's an experience and a half. We were fortunate though, we had someone who knew the ropes, knew what tickets to buy and platforms to stand on. Which of course saved us endless time and reduced the stress levels quite dramatically. And we enjoyed the trip far more.

So don't be afraid to ask if you don't know something. Don't be afraid that you will appear foolish. Believe me, you won't be.

  With Many thoughts,  Elle
