The end of the year that was - the highs and lows - and a free gift for you
2008 has come to an end. There have been many great moments during the year and many, many sad ones too. For those of you who have been with me since the beginning of the year will know that my father died after a long and protracted illness. My children and I headed back to England for the first time in 12 years to wish my father godspeed on his last great journey, and then a few short weeks later his brother and their sister also passed on.
It was then I decided that it was important to do many new things and gain as many new experiences as I possibly could, because as we all know it will be the experiences we remember when it is our time to go.
As of course I tried new things, you my wonderful personal motivators got to hear about them. You see, you inspire me every day to make a difference. Every day I wonder about what I should write and I agonise over the days when I can't find the words to express what I am feeling. But I give you so much homework I figure, you might be glad not to hear from me for a day or two.
The first part of 2009 will be a busy time for me personally as well as professionally. My mum, sister and niece will be heading down under. My sister and niece for their first ever trip, mum to come and enjoy some sunshine and a lot of Australian hospitality. They arrive the day before my daughter's 17th birthday, so the party will be a big one. If you are in the vicinity and would like to join in the celebrations that day - let me know (for catering purposes).
Professionally speaking I will be doing some work during the Christmas and New Year period, to finish writing my book (the training program is ready to go) and as a gift to you all, and apologies to those of you who have read this (it's a gift to all new subscribers) you get to listen to chapter 1 of the book of "ready to change".
Don't worry about the link (when you subscribe to the newsletter you get a choice - are you ready to change - yes or no - don't worry about the no part - the audio is available to you to listen to anyway : -) just go to - http://www.motivateme.info/your-choice-no/
And yes I still have my English accent after all these years "down under". Alternatively if you prefer to read - then there is a pdf version as well....

And as we mentioned, all new subscribers receive this gift, so just send them the link to the site and let your family, friends and associates decide for themselves if they are ready to change.
And as we mentioned recently, we are also hoping to revamp the website in the first part of 2009 and make the information more accessible - because there is a lot there.
So my wish for you as you head into the New Year's revelries is one of hope, of peace, joy and love. It is also my hope that together we will have many, many completed projects to celebrate and discuss. And if you want to have a look at the completed painting project for 2008 (which we started on boxing day if you remember) - then go to - http://www.motivateme.info/gallery/edens-bedroom-renovation-project-december-2008/
