10 signs you're a self-help junkie

1. You have all the books from every program ever advertised but you haven't read any of them all of the way through.
2. You think reading is going to be enough to make a difference to the way your life turns out. So you haunt the bookstores rather than the gym.
3. You decide that you need to go to another motivational seminar to give you the inspiration you need to succeed in your own life.
4. You tell everyone how much you are going to change, but after a few weeks the cracks are beginning to show, and when asked how the program is going you mumble some excuse about not having time, being busy, sick, have pulled muscles.....or whatever other excuse you can think of
5. Your bank balance is the only thing losing size.
6. Your e-mail inbox is crammed with every motivational e-zine and free e-book you can find.
7. Your goal list is a "wish" list. As in "I wish I were thinner" "I wish I could win the lottery" I wish I could ....." fill in the blank.
8. Or your goal list is so unrealistic you have no chance of achieving anything on it. "I will lose 35 pounds in 3 weeks so that I can look fantastic on my holiday" "I am going to work 3 jobs for 3 months to pay for the holiday I need"
9. You've set some proper goals, but you can't get motivated to do anything on them today....you'll start tomorrow, after you've read the contents of your inbox, and finished some other "stuff" that needs doing.
10. You're still living the same life you were living before you started the program(s)
