Champions dig deep
Have you ever succeeded at something? Something big? Something major that you can put your hand up and say - yes that was me, I did that!
Before you say, no, I've never achieved anything so large, I can claim championship status over it. Well let me tell you, right here, right now, you are a champion in many areas of your life already.
Don't believe me?
Well, do you remember learning how to crawl and then walk? Do you remember learning how to talk? Do you remember learning how to read or tie shoelaces? Every one of those "things" that you succeeded at as a child was championship material. Why? Well you overcame everything to do it. You fell down so many times, but you still got up and had another go. Nothing was going to get in your way and you know what was even more remarkable was that you were encouraged, you were told you were a big "boy/girl" now, you were congratulated on a job well done when you succeeded. It's amazing how we forget those kinds of successes isn't it. But we shouldn't, because in order to succeed at anything worthwhile, you need to find that same determination you had then. You need to get over the fact that it might hurt if you fail. Your ego may get battered and bruised. But so what! Ego's need to be reminded now and again, they do not rule our lives (even if they think they do).
So as you start another working week, remember you are already a champion in many areas, now all you have to do is translate that into the things that you want to achieve today, this week, this month and this year and you will see major changes in your life. You see champions know they can succeed, so they usually do.
