Explore, dream, discover

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did so. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."  Mark Twain

As we have discussed through the many issues of the daily dose, your life can change in an instant. Your circumstances can change in an instant - and most of the time by things you have no control over. You can't determine the exact moment you will pass from this one to the next, yet you would think we had all the time in the world to do what we wanted. When as you know if you've ever had a close brush with death and / or serious injury, you will know how wrong that can be.

Remember this one lesson, because it is profound

We do not know how long we have left, so every minute counts, every decision counts, every experience counts. Only you can determine if those things will benefit you or not.

With many deep thoughts for today

Hi Elle,
Great post! (I am subscribed to your email alerts - that love them!)
I have been in a state of drifting now for a few years and have now
given myself a good kick up the back side. I'm re-setting my goals
and starting to climb again before it's too late!
Keep up the brill' writing!
Best wishes,
Richard
