Do it now and improve your multi tasking rate

Don't put things off that take little or no time to do....

Do them, get them out of the way - that way they won't be hanging around at the end of the day / week.

Do it
Delegate it
Dump it

It works. And even better if you can do more than one thing at a time.

Ok, these things can also be deemed to be "busy work" - but sometimes these things still need to be done. If I don't have time to clean the entire house in one go, I will pick something up and put it away on my way to somewhere else...namely the bathroom, or I take my laundry on the way down to speak to the children / wake the children in the morning....while dinner is cooking I will send the Daily Dose to you. While the Daily Dose is being sent, I'll put some laundry in, or check on dinner, supervise homework, pay some bills, get changed from "day work gear" into track gear...then before I eat dinner I will put on the running shoes and hit the pavement.....I don't sit and wait for something to happen.....but then I've always been good at multi-tasking....

And it works for any goal item. If you know what your primary goal is - and you have a few minutes whilst dinner is being cooked then ask what can you do in the next 5 - 15 minutes on that goal item?

I don't know anyone who wouldn't benefit from getting some of those annoying tasks out of the way...the ones you'll get around to at some point or other.....so why not give it a go.
