Keeping track

Monday, the first day of the working week for most people. I know you know that, I'd just thought I'd say it. I know today is Tuesday, i just thought you might like a reminder that as you go through the working week - you are more likely to do things on a Monday...and the reason is simple. Monday is definite point in time. Monday, the first day of the week.

Monday is usually the day that we decide we are going to do ..... and ...... oh and musn't forget to do .....

For instance, the gyms are at their busiest on a Monday, and by contrast - go in on a Friday night straight after work and you can almost guarantee to have the place to yourself. And it shouldn't come as any surprise to learn that more diets are started on a Monday than any other day of the week. Most of them are also finished by the time we get to Friday. We're tired, we're irritable, we're ready for some down time, so most things go straight out of the window by the time we get to Thursday and Friday each week. Go on you know I'm right.

So how can you work this to your advantage.

Ask a couple of simple questions -
If tomorrow were Monday what would I have to do to get ready?
If I had to plan my working week - starting today - what would I need to get done by the time I get home / end of the working week?

And then "play" pretend ... lets pretend that tomorrow is another Monday and see how much more we can get done.
