Tackle one problem at a time
It can be easy to get overwhelmed by ongoing projects and things that need doing. To such an extent that sooner or later you no longer "see" the problem, just know that something annoys you. By not "seeing" the problem any more you can of course, avoid doing anything about it.
It may be you don't know how to tackle the problem, or the item is so big you don't know where to start first, or it may be just one of those things you need to do - like cleaning out your closet.
Today I would like you to look inside all the closets of your life. Talk a mental walk around your home, your place of work, your relationship, your garden, your kids and ask yourself what it is you are avoiding. What have you stuck in your mental closets so you don't have to work on the problems and issues. The thing is with metaphorical as well as real closets - sooner or later you can no longer close the door and things start to spill out.
It is up to you whether you write down the problems or just ackknowledge they are there. personally I find that writing them down, tends to make you do something about them - so humour me and write down all those things that you have been putting off doing and then I would like you to pick one and clean it up. We all have buttons missing off trousers and skirts, and drawers that need cleaning - so choose one of your "problem" areas and work on it - today. Tomorrow can take care of itself, but for today I would like you to stop avoiding one of your tasks and tackle it.
One thing I can guarantee is this - the problem is rarely a problem if you look at it and work on it., you just think it is. Take responsibility for today and the work that you do. And clean out one of your closets.
