Motivated by the unimportant

A few days ago I received an unsubscsribe message from one of my readers. Trouble was I couldn't find the address they'd used to subscribe, so I sent a message back - advising of the fact and to provide the correct one. Then I wrote and sent out that evenings edition of the e-zine. WELL ! You'd think I'd commited armed robbery or some other heinous crime.

Rude, belligerent, every thing in capitals and to emphasise the point just a bit further - !!!!!!!!!!!!! yes a few of those thrown in for good measure. Thankfully the person had responded from the address they had subscribed with so was able to remove them from the database.

Several things crossed my mind:

Cured. I've cured one person of the procrastination habit. If someone can be THAT motivated to do this - surely they will not suffer from motivation in the future :-)

But the really interesting thing about this - is this - why can someone be so motivated by something so trivial.

Don't be motivated by the trivial...it's a waste of life. Get motivated over the things that really matter....PLEASE !!!!!!

Cheers

hi Elle,
Just a reminder that there's an asshole in every group or crowd, or I should be more polite and say "there's one every crowd," but that's been said before.

Don't let the assholes of this world get you down.

Thanks for all your thoughts, advice, and good vibes.

Hi Phillip
Ah, what can I say - sometimes it does / or should that be, sometimes they do...as in get me down that is. When one does one's best, it does make me wonder what else one can do. Then I remember the very old cliche - you can't please all of the people all of the time, and if you did, you'd be worn out.
Thanks for the message, I really do appreciate it
Cheers
