Deadlines
Today's little piece of inspiration comes from Douglas Adams, the author of the HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy ... amongst other things. He said
"I love deadlines, I especially love the whooshing sound they make as they fly by"
By all means set deadlines, they are important - otherwise you may be tempted never to finish anything. But when you are setting those time frames always make sure those deadlines are realistic.
How do you know a realistic deadline when you see one whooshing past? When you look at it and it causes mild panic to set in. Anything more than mild panic usually means you haven't left yourself enough time. The other good idea is to remember, do all that you can today, because who know's what other people have got lined up for you tomorrow.
With love and light
