Learn by doing

Reading and research are a very good place to start to build your new life. But it is all to easy to get caught up in the reading ...
"I just don't have all the facts yet ..."
"I'm not quite ready to take the next step ... I'll just do a bit more reading and then i'll be ..."

The word you are looking for is PROCRASTINATING

Sometimes you just have to take the world by the ears and take a huge leap of faith. I don't know who said it, but "they" said - you can only leap a chasm in one jump.

But if the thought of taking one massive leap of faith and hope the ground doesn't rush up to meet you is too much to cope with. You can learn to live your new life by doing one small thing that would allow you to begin the process.

And the reason is simple ... you can't learn how to do something by reading alone. Take driving a car as a good example. You cannot learn to drive a car by watching videos and reading manuals. The only time you actually learn is when you get behind the wheel of the car - preferably with someone who does know what they are doing - and drive the thing.

Your goals should be like that "learning how to drive" goal you set yourself. Can you imagine what your life would be like if you had never reached that goal? No me neither. So if your goals don't inspire you in quite the same way - then get some better goals. What can you imagine NOT having, or achieving?

Then get on and learn how to achieve them, and remember - you learn by doing.
