Allocating time

Spending half an hour a day thinking positive thoughts and practising the meditation techniques is a start. But - what are you filling the remaining 23 hours and 30 minutes with?

For as many hours of the day that I am able I allow positive and uplifting music and teachings from my mp3 player or local radio station near Washington D.C. http://www.wgts919.com to run into my mind waking and sleeping.

For those few hours during the day that I do not have the incoming flood, my mind, speech and actions pour out positive helpful and uplifting help to the brothers and sisters I encounter as I go about my day, work, play or otherwise.

People that know me seek me out at work or in the community to hear a cheery word or listen to their story with a kind ear and respond with a pleasant word or advice.

I have become a refreshing place where ever I am to those around me. That in itself encourages me to be positive and uplifting in my being.

The world continues to dish out hateful crap, but I refuse allowing it to cling to me, and disband it with words and actions that leave those around me with calm and often joy from the experience. Those persons near me soon learn how to turn the sour parts of the world to pleasant and memorable experiences.

A water/refreshing source can be sweet or bitter, it cannot be both at the same time. it is a false well that tries to be both.

I choose to be sweet, and I will refresh all of the world I encounter as I am able.
