Take yourself out of your natural surroundings

---------------------------
Today's daily dose: Take yourself out of your "natural" surroundings
---------------------------
Your natural surroundings forms your zone of comfort. Everything is just fine and hunky dory in your zone of comfort. With nothing to challenge your mind and your body you can coast through your days and do exactly the same thing in the same way as you've always done. You're "happy" I mean why wouldn't you be? After all its comfortable in your natural surroundings isn't it?

The problem with not challenging your mind and your body is simple - it's boring. If you don't challenge anything, how on earth are you going to grow, learn anything new, eat anything different, wear anything different....can you imagine having the same hair cut between now and the day you die ... that's what being "normal" is. That's your zone of comfort...it's hardly inspiring is it?

Now I am not saying you need to change your hair cut - but you know what I mean. If you don't change - SOMETHING - then every day is going to be the same and we all know how today turned out. Now you may have had a brilliant day for all I know, but chances are going to be good there will be something you would change if given a second chance.

So do me a favour - try something different tomorrow, just one small thing..please. Stretch yourself just a little and then try something a little different again the next day, you don't know how far you can go if you don't at least try. And yes if it all gets too much you can always retreat into your zone - but something tells me you won't - at least not for long. Not if I have anything to do with it :-)

With many thoughts
Elle
