don't be a weed

People who have not found out their true calling or use their skills and abilities are like "weeds" because "weeds" are the plants who have not yet found a use.....

Don't be a "weed"

Take an inventory of what you are good at, and if you really don't know, then ask your family and friends to give you a clue or two...

"Hey, what do you think is my greatest ability" - but only ask the people who would respect you enough to give an honest answer to that question.

This one may take some thinking about, especially if on first glance you can't think of anything you are good at....so - add another level to your thinking. If you could do anything right now, what would you be doing? What are your hobbies, what do you do when you have a spare day off, some free time? Or at the end of each day? Then make an inventory of your good points.

If you want to take this one step further - and you might - then list the things you don't think you are good at. Those are your "homework". How can you stop being lazy? How can you get into the right mindset to go to the gym, eat well, do your assignments...we all suffer from lazy thinking. We all need to do "homework" - but first we need to rid our mind of the weeds of our lazy thinking. Because like all gardens, our minds need guarding against the invaders.... those other "weeds" who want to suffocate us with their thinking. So don't let them.

You need to ensure you guard against the weeds.
You need to think about what you are good at
You need to think about what you are not so good at
You need to spend some time on your weeding (otherwise known as personal development)

Because in the answers to those questions you answered earlier are the seeds to your future successes.

Tend your crops and not your weeds
