Are you an ageist?

How old would you be if you didn't know the answer to that question?

It's an interesting question don't you think and one I am guilty of when I say things like - if only I was .... insert age .... but it would be even better if I had my current level of wisdom and knowledge then as I do now....

Don't get caught up in the I'm too old, I'm too young type of ageist thinking. You are as old as you are, you will never be any younger, but every second you age just a little bit more - it happens, accept it and forget it, it's not significant - because you can't change ANYTHING about the past - just deal with the future. So it's interesting when people quote Ray Kroc and Colonel Sanders as two good examples of people who became rich, powerful and successful at a more senior age as a way to spur you on to doing bigger and better things as you "get older".

What I am trying to say - it doesn't matter if you are young, old, a teenager or a senior citizen - if you have a good idea - then now is the time to put those plans into action, and the reason is simple...the only thing that is important is YOU.

You have a unique set of talents and gifts to share with the world, no-one can do things just like you. Personally I think the world is a much poorer place because most people haven't found or used their gifts and talents with the world. What are you good at? Do people know about it? Would they be shocked if they found out? I have one more thing to say as you go about your day - and that is:

Live your life as though you mean it.

Go on I dare you.
