75%

By now you will have realised we are well into December, which means you are just 25 days away from the end of the year  (well tomorrow is). For those who have been on the 100 day goal achievement challenge that means you have completed 75% of it. So a couple of questions for you:

 - Are the goals you set for yourself 75% complete?
 - Have you achieved more than 75% of your set goals? If so congratulations, BUT now is the time to set in place the next 25 days and then the following 100 days so you can begin 2010 ahead of everyone else.

You see, most people are thinking about Christmas - food, parties, more food, alcohol, more parties and the occassional turkey dinner. Something has to give and it's usually your waistline. Most people have trouble burning off their current food intake let alone burning off the extra and the excess we find ourselves consuming during "the festive season". Please believe me when I say if you stop exercising for more than a couple of days you will struggle to start again - so don't stop. If you are like most people the last 2 weeks of December, especially if you are in the northern hemisphere (because it's cold) is a good excuse to have a holiday from working out - and speaking from experience, that is the worst thing you can do. One week off turns to 2 which turns to a month and sooner rather than later you are back to where you started, except fatter and unfitter than you were before.

And that premise goes for every goal you have on your list. If you don't find time to work on your goal(s) today - when are you? Don't fall prey to the - I'll do that tomorrow / when i have more time kind of thinking - when you are planning your next month make sure you make time and plan time for your goals. Which is why these last 25 days are arguably the most important - because if you can get through these 25 days and still be working towards your better future, then you are well ahead of nearly everyone else. Remember, now is not the time to quit, now is the time to give yourself another kick up the backside and say, you know what I can and will achieve more between now and the end of the year.
