Change: Opening your eyes to the possibilities
When you decide to change your life - you will. You will begin to see opportunities where you hadn't noticed them before. When you truly open your eyes and begin to see what is around you and what you have hidden away for so long things will begin to happen for you. Believe me, it's one of those trust things. But you have to be willing to open your eyes.
There is a line from a movie I liken to this that says "my friend, there is a fine line between coincidence and fate".
Can you be half-open minded? No, you either are or you're not. You can't say you want things to change, then blindly go about your day in the same way. And that is what I mean by opening your eyes to the possibilities.
Knowing what you want to change is the first thing. Doing something about it - that's essential. Now, you may not always get it right. But at least you are moving, at least you are trying something new - and sometimes that's all it takes for you to get off and running. And sooner or later you will wonder what on earth you were doing for all those years. How many times have you said "gosh I wish I'd done that sooner". Well being open to change is that wake-up call for you.
Like I have always said - you might be doing OK, and that's great - but it never hurts to look. To check what you're eating, drinking, reading, watching on the television, what seminars you are going to, how many sales calls you are making. Once you have a measure - you can see and you can do something about it. If you want to. Or you can shut your eyes right now and go back to what you were doing. As always - it's your choice.
