Stop wasting a third of every year: Strategies on overcoming the procrastination habit
Do you want to move your projects and goals on in huge leaps and bounds, then use your weekends / time off.
Now don't argue with me about needing "down time" - that's what sleep is for. A chance to recharge the batteries so you can be refreshed to charge on with the next day's activities. But how often do you say to yourself "I'll take a couple of days of and get started on ..." well if you work a full-time job (usually Monday to Friday) you are given two days off every week. So why not use them instead of your annual leave?
Intersperse your "must do" weekend activities - mine are cleaning, grocery shopping and laundry with your projects and goals and see what a difference it makes, see how fast you can move your goals forward. See how fast you can complete them and move on to other plans and goals you have.
Life is about balance, we all know that. Yet most people waste 2 days every week - that's 104 days a year. That's almost a third of every year - wasted on "down time".
It's time to re-think your weekends and time off if you want to get on.
