Finding time to study

I don't think it matters where you are in life at this time, there will always be some thing that you need to learn.

But where and when do you find the time to do it?

A lot of people use their cars as a mobile university. If you have tapes (does anyone have a tape player in their cars anymore?) and CD's of personal development training programs you've purchased or acquired, then you have time to study. The beauty is of course, that every time you listen to these kinds of things they are implanting their suggestions into your sub-conscious. And speaking from experience - there will always be new things to hear when you listen to something over and over again. Yes you tune out - but even more importantly - the things we learn today will be the foundation stones for our starting points tomorrow.

But we don't just have to study while we are driving.

We can study in many places and many different times during the day.

- Every time we are waiting for an appointment or in a queue.
- If your job allows you to listen to your MP3 player - then you can study all day if you want to. Although I would say - I would give your brain a bit of a rest at some point.
- Every time you go to the gym or go for a walk - take your MP3 player with you.
- Get a voice recorder and read your course notes - create your own study program for your own school and course work.

If we have our MP3 players plugged in - we can carry our mobile universities with us at all times.

If you have your program on CD and not as an MP3 file, there are some free audio grabbers on the net that will convert them into the MP3 format for you. I've done that for every program I have bought and have - as a direct result, been able to listen to more programs.

With many thoughts
Elle
