Structured procrastination is like matching socks
A way to waste time
It's also too short to iron things like gym gear and most of your non-work clothes.... yet I know many people who think it's important to look neat and tidy when they go to work out. Why would you bother when if you are working at the right intensity the first thing you will do when you get home is to put your nicely ironed (but sweaty) clothes back into the laundry.
Structured procrastination allows us to waste time doing things we think are important, but aren't really. Every day we have another opportunity to stop doing those things that don't matter....and get on with doing those things that do.
But do you want to get to the end of your life and have a drawer full of nicely matched socks and folded underwear - or would you prefer to have created a lifetime of memories for yourself, your families and friends to look back on and enjoy.

p.s. for the business people out there - a suggestion - buy the same colour socks - so you can still look smart, but you don't have to spend time every week folding your socks into nice little bundles....
p.p.s - and just to prove my point - my choice of mis-matched socks for today - http://www.motivateme.info/gallery/me-myself-i/
