Goal Setting: Tweak it, tweak it good
It doesn't matter how good you think your life is at the moment, there is always room for movement and improvement.
Remember to take a few minutes at the start of every day and work out what is THE most important thing that needs doing today, and then work on it until it is finished or ready for the next phase.
Remember to take a few minutes at the end of every day and work out the task and project lists for the next working day.
For home based projects and goals - have a place where you can work on them set aside and then - when you get home it is important you start working on those things that need doing otherwise you will spend the night watching TV or doing things you know you shouldn't be doing, but do anyway. And the same can be said for weekends. If you don't have a plan for your time I can almost guarantee someone else will find things ti use it on.
But don't forget the very important ones:
* Eat well
* Drink plenty of fluids - especially non-calorie versions. I'm not a fan of diet anything, so don't drink fizzy (except for soda water, and occassionally a glass of tonic) so it's water, water and more water especially duriing the day. Keep your body and your mind hydrated.
* Get some exercise every single day. It rained today, but I put my coat on and walked anyway. So I got a bit wet - but my mind and body loved it.
* Remember - what goes into your mind will sit there and your life will reflect those images, memories and you will have countless conversations with people about what you watched on the telly / listened to on the radio.
* Get a good night's sleep (or in my case - try to). And this is where I am tweaking my own plan. Trying to work out my bodies rythym so it can learn to sleep well again.
Have a plan and tweak it until it works for you - every single day.
