High energy, low energy
June 12, 2009 at 17:55 When making plans for next week's tasks - be honest with yourself and your internal clock. We all have times when we know we work the best - so it stands to reason to work new tasks and tasks that need a lot of thought and creative power during these times.
Schedule non-critical tasks for those times when your brain is feeling a little sluggish. The worst thing you can do when you are feeling tired is to sit down at your computer and try to work on next month's marketing campaign, or make those difficult phone calls.
This may sound easier said than done, especially if you are under pressure from other people - but where possible work to your own natural rhythm and you will get more done, more easily.
How do you work best?
