It comes down to this
June 14, 2009 at 14:52 1. What do you want?
2. How badly do you want it?
3. Are you willing to put in the hours, the practice, the sheer dedication and persistence you need to pull it off?
If the answer to the last set of questions is - well, maybe - I'd refer back to points one and two.
If you don't enjoy what you do, other things will always look more appealing. If you don't want something as badly as you think you should, then you will procrastinate, you won't want to get up in a morning, you'll spend hours on the internet "doing research". How long do you think the professional sports persons spend perfecting their skills? How long do you think it takes to write a book, paint a portrait, learn how to run a marathon, save a million dollars if you start today with just one dollar?
Every time you decide to put in some practice, every time you decide to save another dollar and every time you decide YOU want something badly enough will YOU decide you are willing to put in the time and the effort to bring it off.
And the beauty is, once you have decided to do something - things start to fall into place.
With many thoughts
