When you need a hand

Remember this - you have some of your own.

We can be our own worst enemy when it comes to motivation and procrastination over tasks we just don't want to do. We say to people, I'm not sure what to do, can you give me a hand?

What you really mean is - I can't be bothered most of the time to work it out for myself - so if I ask you to help me I don't have to do all of the thinking and doing by myself.

Whilst it is good to get help (and I'm not saying you shouldn't) before you ask for help, ask yourself - what advice would you give another person if they came to you with the same issue / problem. And therein lies your answer(s) to your current dilemma. Then all you need to do is take your own advice.

Sometimes we don't give ourselves the credit where it is due and we opt for the easy option. Well today it's time to give yourself a hand and the responsibility to help yourself.
