Your life is a bank account

"Every small positive change we make in ourselves repays us in confidence in the future"
Alice Walker

Your life is a bank account. And like all bank accounts they can healthy, they can be overdrawn, or like most bank accounts - they contain just enough to keep you going until the next pay check.

Healthy habits and behaviours add to your bank account, whilst every bad habit and repeated behaviour takes away from your account. If you look at the balance sheet that is your life - would the positive overcome the negative?

Simply making a conscious decision to treat each transaction as a positive or negative amount to your personal bank account and balance sheet will (hopefully) begin the process of change.

  • Fruit, veg vs fast food
  • Sleep vs staying up too late too many nights a week
  • Drinking too excess every night vs having 2 or more nights of alcohol free days
  • Having good muscle tone created by a good exercise program vs being flabby and fat from getting no "proper" exercise at all.

It doesn't take many new disciplines repeated every day to make a massive change to your personal balance sheet. The question is - are you willing to make those changes?
