celebrate the small stuff

Today is 4th July 2009. To our readers in the USA we hope you a wonderful day of celebrations, of meetings and eatings with family and friends.

For the rest of the world though - today is just another Saturday. Or is it?

We can look at any day of any week of any year and decide that today is just "another" day. But if you consider that today is the only chance you will ever have to experience the 4th July 2009 it does take on a whole new meaning doesn't it.

So - given we only have this one day to enjoy Saturday the 4th July 2009 - how are you going to make it a memorable day? One that you can look back on and see that it wasn't just another day, but one to be savoured, enjoyed, celebrated and remembered?

I agree here. Its great to celebrate a small thing in life. Like picking my first strawberries from my garden or doing something like giving blood.
