Don't confuse life with a romance novel or any other book for that matter.
We can all be guilty of reading, watching, going to seminars and training courses yet failing to put into action those ideas, plans and suggestions that we have been given.
Why do we do that?
Do we think that reading is synonymous with "doing", do we think it is enough to read / undergo training without putting any of what we have been told into action.
To be honest I see it all the time. People who have been "told" to go on training courses are the ones who take no part in the proceedings. And it is the same with every "self-help" book or program we buy. We forget the "self-help" bit is exactly that. Helping ourselves by doing and not just reading, by taking part in everything that comes our way - regardless of whether we have been told or been sent, but by taking part in everything and giving it everything we've got. After all, we really don't know how long we have been given. But there is one thing I do know and that is this -
Life is just waiting for us to show up.
So - as much as I hate to say - it's time to stop reading.
oh and a P.S. for today
Today is 10/10/10 - and the date only comes around once every thousand years ... but really when you stop and think about each day - they are all unique and special in their own way - if we allow them to be. How amazing has your day been?
Happy 10/10/10 to everyone

One kitchen drawer held a treasure trove of all things - why on earth did we keep that ... I'm sure you can attest to similar... anyway, the first 2 items are #83 and #82 - number 82 is interesting though. 2 film cameras and a roll of film that doesn't fit either camera ... like I said "why on earth did we keep those?" http://www.motivateme.info/discarding-100-things/
And the daily posts are in : http://www.motivateme.info/100-days-challenge/
